Masala BBQ & Mushaira
Home-made kebabs, salads and spicy asian food was laid on by the Masala Goup for all the guests of the Bollywood events. About one hundred turned up to hear Dal Luggah give her story of her Spiritual Journey while Onkar explained how following Jesus was the inspiration for our 'good works' – our thanksgiving to Jesus. Several guests sung Christian spiritual songs accompanied by a small painting exhibition.
The rest of the time was spent chatting and enjoying the collection of Mushaira or poetry readings.

About 80 of us travelled Friday 20th June to Letton Hall in Norfolk. Despite the rain, we enjoyed the beauty of Norfolk countryside and rustic house. Plenty of time to befriend others and, despite the lack of mobile phone reception, had lots of Fun . Mike and Leslie Woods brought stories of Gods power to heal and speak directly to the church.

Sally and Egerton jones dedicated Kendry and Malaika, and the church happily prayed for the whole family. Sally encouraged people who were waiting for God to trust Him - this is their story.

Nearly 200 people packed into the church halls to hear a mix of ‘golden oldies’ and modern ballads of Asian films. Simon Sylvester, runner up of the world Competition for Asian signing, with appearances on Zee TV, worked wonders with a rapt audience. Finally we all enjoyed the sumptuous buffet of delicious Asian food, followed by a request selection of songs.

We have a great mix of music, dance and cultural delights from around the world. Friends will be performing their talents and skills, complemented by a delicious buffet.
