Monday 1st
Please pray for Meath,
Dalkeith, Richmond and Grosvenor Roads which are being
prayer-walked this month. Please pray for righteousness, peace, law
and order and the spread of the Gospel.
Tuesday 2nd
Please pray for Barry as
he guides churches without pastors. Pray too for Maria, that she
may continue to be enthusiastic, strong in faith and
endurance.
Wednesday 3rd
Bring
before the Lord the Deacons, church leaders and their families.
Please pray that the Deacons and leaders will know God’s presence /
leading / guidance as they meet tonight to discuss the work of the
church. Pray too for God’s leading / guidance in the appointment of
the new youth worker.
Thursday 4th
Please pray that the
redevelopment work on the Welcome Centre and the Church will start
on time and progress smoothly.
Friday
5th
Please continue to pray
for our Youth Club renamed The Friday Night
Projects.
Saturday
6th
Please pray for the men
who gather together at Menmeet this morning, that they will be
blessed by this time of fellowship. Please pray too for our youth
football team and for Eamonn who runs it.
Sunday 7th
Please pray for Jigsaw,
that the children will learn to read and study God’s word for
themselves. Continue to pray for YPF, that God would stir them as a
group into action as they look at poverty and injustice relating to
the local and global communities we are a part
of.
Monday
8th
Please pray for Young at
Heart and give thanks for the volunteers: George, Carlene, Anne,
Janice, Denise and Grace.
Tuesday 9th
Please pray that God
will lead and guide our discussions and decisions made at the
Church Meeting this evening. Please also pray for the new weekly
day-time Bible study group led by Denise that it will be well
attended, particularly by the folk who are members of Young at
Heart.
Wednesday 10th
Pray
for all the folk meeting today at the Lunch Club and thank God for
the volunteers: Marian, Eric, Christine, Norma and Denise. Please
also remember the volunteers (Pinder, Pat, Olive, Angela and Ilir)
who have taken on fabric, secretarial, housekeeping and finance
responsibilities.
Thursday

Please pray that the
folk attending House Groups and small group meetings will have
God’s wisdom and knowledge as they speak into peoples’ lives.
Please pray too for the men who meet at the More4Men discussion
group.
Friday
12th
Pray
for the leaders and members of the Worship Group and Youth Worship
Band.
Saturday 13th
Sunnyside Contact Centre
- Pray that Sandra and Herman Holder will settle quickly into their
new role of co-ordinating the centre and receive all the help and
support they need from the team.
Sunday
14th
Remember the folk in the
Crèche, thanking God for the commitment of the staff week by week.
Please also pray for the babies, toddlers and their
families.
Monday
15th
Pray
for those in our fellowship who are unwell, lonely, shut-in or
bereaved and for folk who are feeling discouraged or hurt. Pray
they will all know the Lord’s love, presence, peace, comfort and
strength.
Tuesday 16th
Please pray for Barry
and all the folk attending his weekly “Freedom in Christ”
discipleship course. Pray that the course will achieve all its aims
and equip folk to walk in freedom every
day.
Wednesday
17th
Please pray for Michael,
Naomi, Simon and Yvonne, that they do not get distracted by people
who are not serious about growing in Christ or simply want to
attack the Christian faith.
Thursday
18th
Continue to pray for the
under 14s Bible Study group (Young Jam) run by Patrick and Laura.
Please pray too for the youth team, that as they meet and discuss
their faith goals for the youth work, God would give them a vision
and a passion.
Friday
19th
Welcome Project - Pray
1) that funding to cover the running costs of the Welcome Project
would be forthcoming and for…… …...statutory bodies who will be
finalising their budgets this month 2) that God will reach into all
clients’ hearts so they feel they have a good and meaningful
purpose for their lives. Also, that God will reveal His presence
and love for them. Pray too for Barnabas Workshops, that God will
enable them to meet their financial needs.
Saturday 20th
Masala Group - Pray that
opportunities arise to share the reason why we serve the community
and that more people take the literature, Bibles and DVDs on
offer.

21st
Please pray for Angela
and the Gospel Choir as they minister to us this morning. Pray too
that the folk meeting today at the Shared Lunch will have a time of
blessing.
Monday
22nd
Please pray that the new
partnership between Language Link and Sacoma would be mutually
beneficial.
Tuesday
23rd
Please continue to pray
that the young adults’ group will have revelation as they tackle
the difficult issues in the “Freedom in Christ” series. Also, that
God will grant wisdom to Jasmine and
Hughes.
Wednesday

Please pray that the CEP
will have new and exciting opportunities in our local schools,
especially where there has been a change of Head or R E
co-ordinator.
Thursday
25th
Please pray for the
ladies who meet to study the Bible, that they would believe the
word of God is powerful to change situations and life. Please pray
too for the men who meet again at
More4Men.
Friday

Pray
that all the children and parents from Young Inspirations, Pram
Club and Pre-School will be kept safe during the redevelopment work
on the church site.
Saturday
27th
Thank
God for all volunteers who serve in the life of the church and HLP.
Where there are needs for more volunteers, pray that God will
faithfully provide resources.
Sunday 28th
Please pray for the
young people who are taking part in this morning’s services. Please
also remember in your prayers 1) Laura and her work among young
people and 2) Mark Harrison as he seeks God’s leading and guidance
regarding his future.

Points of View - Please
pray that it allows testimonies to be shared, deepens trust and
avoids confrontation that stops serious questions from being
asked.
Tuesday 30th
Please pray for Graham
and Mairi McBain and their family, that they may know God is with
them in every situation they encounter in their life and ministry
at the church in Tirana, Albania.
Wednesday
31st
Pray for all those
involved in the Prayer Chain and prayer ministry. Especially pray
for all the folk who have requested God’s peace, healing and
understanding to penetrate situations of broken family life and for
God to be glorified in the outcome.
